38-year-old Chooromanie Tulsie, an accountant from Lot 26 Unity Mahaica, E.C.D., was allegedly murdered between November 21 and 22 by person(s) unknown.
Cavita Jagarnauth, who reported the incident to the police, found Tulsie’s 5-year-old son by a window on the upper flat.
They then found the deceased lying on the ground inside the house’s lower flat, with a piece of cloth stuffed inside her mouth and a çat the center of her throat.
The body was taken to Memorial Gardens Funeral Home for a postmortem examination. Investigations are ongoing.
