Deron Adams, Region 10’s Regional Chairman, told his community recently that “The Oil and Gas sector has emerged as a beacon of promise for our nation’s economic growth and prosperity.” According to Adams, “It holds immense potential for our local communities right here in Region 10.”
The Regional Chairman was at the time giving remarks at the Centre for Local Business Development’s Community Outreach event in Linden. Adams told those gathered that his “Regional Government has made it one of its bedrock policies to collaborate with all agencies and organisations willing to work to ensure that development opportunities are made available to our residents in an equitable manner.”
Chairman Adams emphasized, “The Oil and Gas industry is not just about drilling for resources; it’s about building an entire ecosystem of support services, businesses, and employment opportunities. From exploration to production, logistics to technology, and environmental management to community engagement” He says the sector offers a wide spectrum of avenues where the Region’s talent and enterprises can thrive.
He urged local businesses to consider the diverse range of services and products that can be provided to support the Oil and Gas sector. Adams stated that there are “countless opportunities for our entrepreneurs to thrive” while bearing in mind the importance of “sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.”
