‘Melly Mell’ files complaint against PPP gov’t “transnational repression”

Credible Sources has confirmed that multiple cybercrime charges have been filed with the Guyana Police Force against Human Rights & Political Activist Melissa Atwell, popularly known as “Melly Facking Mell” on social media.

Atwell in a Press Release reported that she has filed a complaint with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) under the legal facility of transnational repression and has started moves to guard against transnational repression on Guyanese in the diaspora speaking out against harassment.

Atwell said, “I have assessed the situation. I have concluded that there are moves by the regime to transnationally repress me for my human rights work in a view of trying to silence me.”

The People’s Progressive Party (PPP) has a history of using the Guyana justice system to imprison, harass and or smear the character of citizens who speak out against their politics.
