Residents of Number #28 Village, West Coast Berbice, and its environs are uneasy as thieves are on the prowl and operate on the corridor with impunity.
Concerned citizens are calling on authorities to haul in the suspects are things continue to go missing. Persons in Lovely Lass and Bush Lot are also complaining that they are forced to sleep in their cars or put their motorcycles in their houses.
Additionally, residents say that after serval reports at the Fort Wellington Police Station by people who lost their motorcycles and various car parts, officers are claiming that the suspect is a juvenile and there is not much which can be done.
