Dr. Michelle Paul, attached to the Fort Wellington Hospital in Region Five, who was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday night is said to be doing well.
Reports stated that Dr. Paul was driving along the Fort Wellington Public Road around at around 7 pm when a motor car crashed into her SUV while attempting to overtake.
She then lost control of her vehicle causing it to hit a car coming from the opposite direction. The doctor’s SUV then spun until it hit a utility post and then crashed into the RDC Region Five’s fence where it stopped.
Dr. Paul was rushed to the Fort Wellington Hospital unconscious and transferred to the New Amsterdam Public Hospital. Updates are that she remains hospitalized and is now in stable condition.
The driver of the car that initially caused the accident reportedly fled the scene leaving his car but is now hospitalized after turning himself in to police.
