It could be that the toll of the job is getting to President Irfaan Ali or it is just the unvarnished truth being told about his Minister Deodat Indar, who has responsibilities in the Ministry of Public Works.
Recently President Ali was on outreach and seemed to inadvertently say a minister he appointed is a “waste of time” when Ali was advising a member of the public.
