Male intruders are easily breaching the porous fence at the back of the Vreed-en-Hoop Secondary School, Region 3, Essequibo Islands-West Demerara.
Students told our publication that they have been treated by “big boys” who enter the compound unauthorized, bully, and verbally assault them.
One female student recounted how she has been bullied for her money under threats she would be “raped and buggered”.
Students and teachers have said they have complained numerous times to the authorities, but the problems persist.
