Reports indicate that a young teacher of the Line Path Secondary School on the Corentyne collapsed at school and was rushed to the hospital.
Dharmini Pershad, on Friday, November 11, 2022, was attending to her usual duties at the Secondary School in Region 6, East Berbice-Corentyne.
Our publication confirmed with the school staff that the beloved teacher complained of feeling unwell before she collapsed and was rushed to the hospital where she reportedly died.
It is unclear what is the cause of her death.
