North Ruimveldt Multilateral Secondary out of power for days

Parents and students of the North Ruimveldt Multilateral School are concerned, they allege that the school has been out of electricity for more than three days. The situation has caused the cancellation of classes at half day.

Our publication has been informed that a contractor working on the North Ruimveldt Secondary School excavated an area and knocked out the power to the buildings. This is an additional setback to students after a major fire gutted the school in June 2021.

More than a year later students and teachers are still without basic classroom essentials, educational facilities, and needed resources. With the return to face-to-face learning, many students at North Ruimveldt Multilateral have no classes to return to.
