St. Kitts and Nevis’ National Assembly is getting back to work after a bruising election, and the Parliamentary recess period drew to a close recently for Houses that follow the Westminster system
The first meeting of the National Assembly will be held on Thursday, October 27 at 10:00 am at the National Assembly Chamber, Government Headquarters, Basseterre.
Parliaments across the region and internationally are in work mode. The People’s Progressive Party (PPP) touts a robust parliamentary agenda but its National Assembly infrequently meets. Though its Parliamentary recess period has concluded it has not stated when the House will reconvene and the new session will begin.
