Last evening in Berbice following an accident involving cattle a cow was cut up at the scene. It is being reported that a minibus hit a pedestrian and a cow. The brand from the dead animal was subsequently removed from the dead animal to be taken to the police station.
Our publication is reliably informed that a police patrol in the vicinity seeing the carcass decided to cut it up. It could not be ascertained what they intended to do with the carcass. The B Division patrol is now said to be under close arrest.
