Jim Walker, a 48-year-old resident of Waramadong Village, Upper Mazaruni River, Region #7, was on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, charged with Sexual Activity with a Child.
The man appeared at Georgetown Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Delon Bess, where the charge was read to him.
According to the police report, Walker 48, had sexual penetration with a 16-year-old female of Region 7 on April 30, 2022, in contravention of the sexual offenses Act of Guyana.
Walker was not required to plead to the charge and was remanded to prison until June 13, 2022. The matter will be transferred to the Kamarang Magistrate’s Court.
