The Guyana Police Force (GPF) and the Government are not saying much as cases of missing school-age girls and boys continue to increase across Guyana.
Hilda ‘Priya’ Beaten is the mother of 14-Y-O Erica Lall who went missing on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, around 17:30. Beaten and other family members during a Facebook interview last night, told Social activist Melly Mel that she suspects her daughter might have been trafficked.
The mother related that she received a call from an unknown number Wednesday afternoon and when she answered it was her daughter on the other end of the line. The mother said that her daughter told her to go to the police or else she will never see her again.
Beaten related that before she could as her daughter where she was the phone cut off. She believes that her daughter is being held against her will and wants the authorities to do more. Lall was last seen on the Linden Soesdyke Highway.

Also missing is 15-Y-O Tahirah Ali. She was reported missing on Monday and her family wants answers.

Myron Deharte, 15 -Y-O, of 52 Church Street Stanley Town went missing Wednesday afternoon. He was wearing a long black and red track pants, a blue jersey, and a blue backpack. His family is also pleading for his safe return.

The Guyana Chronicle reported on March the disappearance of 15-Y-O Aliyah Mohamed of Affiance, Region Two. She has been missing for four days at the time of the report. We were unable to confirm if she was ever found.
