The Guyana Police Force (GPF) around 1 am today was called to the Marriott Hotel parking lot by security to investigate the discovery of two male bodies in a sitting position in the front seats of a motor vehicle.
The GPF, in a statement released, identified the two males as Richie Hansraj, a musician, and Justin Texiera, an American Airlines employee.
The deaths are suspected to be a case of murder/ suicide. However, the Police are gathering more information as their investigations commence.
A review has begun of CTV footage and the GPF is also talking with possible eyewitnesses before they are set to make a more definitive pronouncement on the deaths of the two men.
