The United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken is coming in June. The Jagdeo/Ali regime is in trouble. It appears the Biden Administration has had enough of the backroom conversations and the sending of State Department personnel. It is time for a frank and final warning to a regime that is destined to rip apart the social fabric of Guyana society and put American oil security at risk.
This publication has been reliably informed by highly credible intelligence sources. Those reports have indicated that the US intelligence systems are giving feedback on Guyana that is not sitting well with Joseph Biden. Alarm bells went off when the Jagdeo/Ali administration abstained on the vote to suspend Russia from the UN Human Rights Council.
Washington is extremely worried. The United States of America cannot have an oil-rich nation in its backyard falling into the sphere of influence of China and Russia. Sadly, their intelligence systems are suggesting that Bharrat Jagdeo seems comfortable with autocratic regimes because he does not have to account for the flouting of democracy and democratic standards. We believe, Blinken is being sent directly by Joseph Biden to remind the Jagdeo/Ali, in person, that Guyana remains in the backyard of the great superpower.
Added to what is outlined above, the visit of U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS) for Caribbean Affairs and Haiti, Barbara A. Feinstein to Guyana on March 24-26 was the straw that broke the camel’s back. According to those close to the Secretary of State, Feinstein’s report was extremely troubling and demanded a face-to-face visit to issue the final red-letter warning.
It is believed that the Feinstein report concluded that if the Jagdeo/Ali continues on its current trajectory, there could be social unrest. It is expected that Blinken will demand the immediate reversal of the racist and discriminatory policies. This is the highest priority of the Biden Administration. Now that the Americans will no longer import Russian oil, Guyana has become an indispensable part of the national security concerns of the United States. Hence, any trouble that occurs here, will have serious repercussions for the superpower.
Blinken is on his way to issue the final warning to the Jagdeo/Ali regime.
