Many Guyanese say the progress experienced in the Water Sector under the APNU+AFC Government has been all but undone by the current installed PPP regime.
For the residents of La Grange it is a truism as they have been struggling for the past three months to obtain something as basic as potable water.
Residents of the community are lamenting the colour of the water, if it comes at all. “The water goes and comes,” one resident said.
Another resident of La Grange quickly added on condition of anonymity, “But for the past week there has been no water at all.”
