The APNU+AFC Coalition partner the Alliance For Change (AFC) has congratulated “the newly elected Leader of the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) Mr. Aubrey Norton and members of the new Executive on being elevated to their high positions of office and authority,” the party has stated.”
Earlier today as Norton’s main contender for the top spot, Joseph Harmon, conceded defeat as it became evident that most of Team Norton’s slate would emerge as the next cadre of PNCR leaders. In its release Sunday night the AFC said it “looks forward to working with this new Executive to strengthen the Opposition against the wrongdoings of the Government, ensuring that better benefits flow to the people of Guyana.”
