The installed People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPPC) regime’s “grocery list” constituting hampers to Public Servants has been met with scorn.
The grocery list emerged after Finance Secretary Sukrishnalall Pasha wrote to “Heads of Budget Agencies” and “Subvention Agencies” canceling Christmas parties and socials in view of COVID-19 restrictions.
The regime proposed “holiday hampers at a cost not to exceed $7,000 per staff member and subject to the availability of funds of each Agency’s budget.”
