Police Constable Narindra Sukhra who is reportedly stationed in the Region 5 Division was recently charged as a result of him beating his wife.
His wife reportedly suffered a swollen eye as a result of the blows inflicted at the hands of her husband.
Sukhra who appeared at the Blairmont Magistrate Court recently and entered a guilty plea was sentenced to one week in jail.
