Reports are swirling as to who ordered the cutting down of the Guyana Police Force’s palm trees which punctuate various parts of the landscape at its Eve Leary compound.
The iconic trees are said to date back to Guyana’s colonial past. The trees were felled today and social media has been abuzz as to the reasons why the trees are suddenly being removed.
