Handful of Republic Bank Cards found in pontoon

It is commonly said that ‘Guyana is not a real place’, days like today prove it. A handful of Republic Bank Cards were reportedly discovered in a pontoon today. However, the exact location of the vessel could not be ascertained.

Recently, a number of Guyana’s National ID Cards were found floating in the Demerara River, behind the Stabroek Market area where boats ply the route to Vreed-en-Hoop. Republic Bank for its part has not put out any statement on the issue.
